Two application tracks available - Embassy Track (via Korean Embassy in Pakistan, can apply to up to 3 universities) OR University Track (apply directly to 1 GKS-designated Korean university) - choose only ONE track, applying to both simultaneously results in disqualification. Neither applicant nor parents may hold Korean citizenship; dual nationals with Korean citizenship are ineligible. Must be under 40 years old for graduate (Masters/PhD) programmes. Includes mandatory 1-year Korean language training before degree studies begin (Master total 3 years, PhD total 4 years) unless TOPIK Level 5-6 achieved within first 6 months, allowing early degree start.
Full tuition fees, round-trip economy airfare, one-time settlement allowance upon arrival, monthly living allowance, 1-year Korean language training included, medical insurance, research allowance per semester (varies by field of study).
